Text editor everywhere

I notice that when editing a file title and descriptiont there is a nice text editor... but nothing else gets it. It will be nice to get that editor everywhere specially when editing a project description.

You get that same editor when adding, replying or editing a message.
I'm definately willing to add the editor to project descriptions, milestones descriptions as well - but first it needs to be ensured that the overall layout of Collabtive doesn't "break" when users can add own "styles" in these places.

Definately an interesting idea, but needs more consideration.
I need to talk to our graphics/GUI guy about this as well :)

I don't think this makes it to the upcoming 0.3 release.

Cool! Any approx. date when the new release will come? I started using Collabtive to manage our projects and everyone in my team is loving it. Really awesome project!

The next release of Collabtive is due next week. I think we will release it on mondy, or tuesday.

Changes in 0.3 include

  • Improvements to the milestones view on desktop / project page (ajax scrolling)
  • Newest messages block on the desktop, the eventlog is now only shown on the project page
  • Attach files to messages (existing project files as well as the option to upload new files to attach)
  • Better looking error pages
  • Improved localisation (Better event messages for non subject-verb-object structured languages, better multilanguage support for the wyswyg editor)
  • Many small improvements and bugfixes

Most of the new functionality is already implemented and can be checked out from our SVN repository.
This is, however, not really recommended as not everything is finalized yet.
Also our public SVN repo does reflect "snapshots" of the current development process so not everything may be working at any given time :)
