Worker attribution issue on old projects + time tracking pro

Postby webartis » 19.04.2012, 19:39

Hi

I have 2 blocking problems :

1 - one a project and task list is created, if a new user is created he does NOT appear in teh list on modification screen. So any user created after the project cannot be affected on it.

2 - very big problem (not an issue) : the time tracking management

In fact, it is now set up as begining/ending time. This is very very difficult to use, specially when people work on several project, which is generally the case.

Found tis viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5752 with no answer.

For me, this is BLOCKING.

That supposes that people MUST have the system opend always, and directly type ther hours, hour by hour.

There SHOULD be a possibility to type BY worked hours, that could allow to do it ant the end of the day, in one time, because of multi project workers.

This at themoment does not work this way so :

- is it in to do list ?
- if not need a quotation to change the script to be able to do that (but sutomization is defnitly a probleme with updates)
- since the script is not usable as is shall i simply abbandonne this great and only script that fit all our needs excepted this little time tracking problem ?

Thanks for answer.

Edit :

Found viewtopic.php?t=6859 for time tracking so will cancel the question here.

Remain the new user to old project issue :)

For the moment I can help you with your first issue:

1 - one a project and task list is created, if a new user is created he does NOT appear in teh list on modification screen. So any user created after the project cannot be affected on it.

Go into the project, then to the User tab. There you will find a button Add user.
