Collabtive Plugins now Available

We have implemented several plugins that add functionality to Collabtive.
They are now available for purchasing at our services page: http://collabtive.o-dyn.de/service.php

Available plugins:

• Project templates (video available)
• Prioritization for projects, tasklists and tasks (video available)

I would pay that price if the Ghant chart plugin was able to show ghant for milestones of an individual project and ghant of tasks by milestone.

Gantt chart functionality for tasks has been added to the plugin already.
It replaces the calendar view on the project level with a gantt view of the tasks in the project.
We will release a new video soon, demoing this functionality.

Is it to be expected that Collabtive as it stands will see no new features, and any additional features will be in the form of purchasable plugins?

No.
This does in no way mean that the development of the OSS Version will cease or that Collabtive will be "closed off".
It just means that some advanced (and select) functionality, may be developed as commercial plugins.

Collabtive will continue on a 2-3 releases-a-year schedule.
The next release will be called 0.7.5 and will mainly be a bugfix and maintenance release. It will maybe contain some smaller feature additions / improvements.I think it will be released in 6-8 weeks from now.
After that there will be Collabtive 0.8 which will contain new functionality and should be released by the end of the year.

No, they are freely available via YouTube. Just click the "i" icon on the right side of the plugin you're interested in, and you can start watching the corresponding video.

I am just considering buying the "Project Template Task Overview" and "Gantt chart for projects and tasks" plug-ins.

Ideally we need multiple stake-holders to be able to see an overview of all live projects and how they overlap. But I'm thinking that these 2 plug-ins do not exactly work together to this end, since the calendar view is not available in the new task overview Tab?

Is there a way to achieve this functionality?

I was considering setting up a dummy user who is added to all projects, then I guess that if any Project Manager signs in with those credentials, they will get to see the overview - and as a Gantt if the plug-in is installed. But this is not ideal.

Some improvements have also been implemented.

How do you get the automatic time tracker to start in this demo?

Normally it opens a popup upon login. You have probably disabled popups in your browser, so if you change this browser setting, the automatic timetracking should work.
