[2.0] unable to send emails

Hi,
I installed collabtive 2.0 on centos 6 with plesk 11.
All seems to work except emails.

emails are never sent when creating a task, a message or something else that send an email.
I configured the email settings correctly by using my working SMTP account but emails are not sent.
Then I tried with PHP mail using the same account but it still doesn't work.

In the error_log I cannot see anything related to email.

What can be the problem?
Should I configure something else on the server?

Consider that before collabtive 2.0, on the same server, with the same configuration, I installed collabtive 0.7 supplied by Plesk applications manager and the emails works.

Hi,
I think I found the problem.
With 2.0 seems that messages and tasks notifications emails are not sent to the logged-in user.
As admin I tried to:
1) create tasks assigning them to me and I never receive the emails.
1) add messages to me and I never receive the emails.

In collabtive 0.7 that I was used before such emails arrived.

Then I tried to add some other test users sending message to them and assigning tasks to them and all emails arrive to them

So it seems as emails are not sent to the logged-in user

Yes, your assumption is correct. :)
We think that it isn't necessary to send a mail to the active user, since he/she already knows what's going on.

Hi,

is it anyhow possible to change these behavior?

Thanks!

If you can code, you can change it, yes.
We will not change it in the repository, though, because we don't see why.

I could help you to get this feature back. Just send me a PN if you are still interested.
