[2.1.1] PDF Export Problem

Postby Cranial » 11.02.2016, 04:51

Hi,

I'm having an issue when exporting PDF from Timetracker. The "comment" section is rendering only on one line, making text illegible, even when zoomed in.

I've attached a PDF for reference: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/318691/Samples/project-11-timetable.pdf

Running v2.1.1

*push*

Thank you Operator,

I notice a dev has commented on your code, saying it is not the right way to do it.

Perhaps the Collab Dev can let me / us know a better way?

Hey.

First of all: sorry - why didn't i answer in english? I must have been dozily...

so basically, all I'm saying is that my code does not fix the issue, it's just a workaround to circumvent the problem.

I completely understood. And thanks for the code. I will definitely implement if need be, but I would prefer not to. For the user facing this issue I need to keep it as simplified as possible, they're a builder, not a fan of computers.

A complete solution to this is actually hard.
You need to implement a word wrap, and then manipulate the height of that one cell accordingly.
I will look into this when i get some time for it.

Thank you Philipp,

I have only had this complaint since upgrading them from 0.7.6 to 2.1.1 , how was it implemented in 0.7.6?

We used a different library for PDF support.
One that had better wordpwrap, but many other downsides (no UTF8 support, slow, etc)
