can not access the projects

Hey there

I tried to install this as a trial on a virtual machine today. Ubuntu 16.01 LTS with LAMP

Installed using mysql, everything seemed to work smooth so far. Creating new projects is fine, but by clicking on the project the management does not open, neither is it possible to delete a project.

webvirtual is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

Maybe someone had this error before, the mysql user is actually the root user.

This is not a known or (so far) reproducible bug.
Can you tell us about the contents of the error log, please?

I had the exact same problem trying to install Collabtive on Ubuntu 16.04. From what I read, utf8_decode and utf8_encode should be provided by mbstring but they are not in php7.0. After installing the php7.0-xml module (sudo apt-get install php7.0-xml), manageproject.php started working. Install.php might need to check if this module is present, at least if php7.0 is detected.

Dear all,
I think i got a similar problem.
I just installed Collabtive on à Wamp server (please don't blame me ) and I have a problem on project creation from the desktop page


Here is the php_error.log concerned line:

PHP Warning: Illegal string offset 'ID' in D:\wamp\www\collabtive\templates_c\122191cb91754659c408dab5131b18254778faba_0.file.addproject.tpl.php on line 132

Other bugs maybe related :
- When creating a new project, in the descrition field : only characters before the first special one are saved. (Eg : "Concerne la préparation" will be saved as "Concerne la pr"). If I edit the description after the creation, everything works fine. My table format is utf8_general_ci.
- When editing a project : the checkbox label "Accept all due date" is missing in the french version.


My detailed server config : Apache/2.4.9 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.1g PHP/5.5.12 Server at Port 80
php_mbstring module is active.

By the way thank you for this app wich is just exactly what I was looking for during years. I can throw away my crappy Excel file.
