Regarding SMTP mailing system

Some questions and issue with SMTP...

- What triggers mail sending?
I try to setup the mail sending system, but don't know how to verify it works.
What function/action in collabtive should trigger a mail sending?

- Add a "test smtp setup" function in the options
Makes life a lot easier with non-standard mail server.

- Can't make it works with gmail or other mail account
Could someone provide working gmail parameters (and other providers)?
Should be added in a FAQ, to avoid the same questions over and over again.

- Provide more options in smtp setup
none/SSL/TLS
anonymous or authentified
separate port from server IP
Add "From" field, because some servers check if the smtp user matches the From provided (ex : mymail@provider.com / mymail = works, "blank" / mymail = fails)

The most recent Collabtive version, 3.0.2, brings a newer version of the mailing library that is used internally.
Please update and try again.

PHPMailer was updated to the most recent version in Collabtive 3.1
This should solve any known issues.
