Implementation of Editing and Entering Project Start Date

I have noticed that there are increasing number of people asking for the ability to add and edit the start date for project and tasks.

Currently I am providing you with my implementation that adds the ability to enter and edit the start date for projects.

The provided zip file contains all the modified files, all you will need to do is upload and replace, the collabtive files, with the provided files. These modifications are for collabtive version 1.0.

Regarding Implementation of Editing and Entering Task Start Date in tasks: if
in class.task.php
$start = time();
how would you redefine this parameter to apply in a similar way as in projects? to achieve the same results:
i.e Editing and Entering Task Start Date in tasks?

Hi Some person I´ve been trying to Edit and set tasks, but seem to be passing the wrong variables in class.task.php $start = strtotime($start); any ideas?

I have implemented this, it can be found here viewtopic.php?f=8&t=10186, so you will not have to implement this yourself.

Editing and Entering Start Date is an issue I was personaly looking for.Thanks for raising this topic.For Editing or entering start or Finish Date I follow following steps:
1)Project Menu------------Project Information
2)Selecting one of the following:
a)Scheduling from Start Date----------------Click Project Start Date in the schedule from list.
b)Scheduling from Finish Date---------------Click Project Finish Date in the schedule from list.
3)In the Start Date or Finish Date box enter the date that you want to schedule from.
But I am having the problem when I enter or edit Project start date works well for finish date.Will Project management templates will help me or any other alternative.

Was this implemented into the 1.1 version? I don't see it on my install.

I just installed the plugins bundle to my server and didn't want to mess up the those plugins with installing this (project and task) changes.

If it does cause failure with the plugins, do you have an implementation time frame since I don't see that change made on the latest update v.1.1?

In fact this didn't make it into 1.1.
We hope that it will be in the next release, which will be released within the next 5 months, according to our release schedule.
