General Discussion around Collabtive

Colors

Postby Larry Jones » 24.02.2011, 19:27

Where can I change the background color of the Login Page? I've been able to change colors of most everything by changing CSS and images. However, I can't find where to change the background color for the life of me. Sorry for the newbie question. I am in need of a code warrior to come rescue me ;) Thanks.

Exactly the case. I was looking for the hexadecimal to change. I should have known with the gradient it was an image. Duh.

Your theme looks good! Great work. :)
Where does the envelope icon in your main menu lead to?

Nice Grant, your theme is similar to mine...Dark. I'm really happy with how mine came out. I'm loving collabtive, I can tell it will be a great tool.
Now to deal with this date format issue I'm having. I adjusted the date format to m/d/y, but it keeps appearing d/m/y when I set project due date. Then on the Milestones pop-up from Calender it appears d.m.y.?? Same deal with the Timetracker. The date appears correctly formatted in Messages and Tasks however. I wish I was more code inclined to figure it out. Have you sorted through this yet Grant?

Thanks for the kind words Grant. You have quite a talent yourself.
The color pallet was taken from The University of TN, lol. Im a big football fan.

Thanks for the advice, I will give the "lite edition" fix a shot. Also, thanks for pointing me to Agent Ransack. Cool tool.

I will keep a look out for your progress. You code guys are a different breed. :ugeek: My left brain is weak, lol.
Hope all is well down in Tampa. I went to high school down there in St. Pete way way back, haha.

Peace.

Grant, your changes to the d.m.y (lower case only) worked perfectly, thank you for the file search tool also.

now all my Dates are american standards in all tabs, i.e. milestones, activities, tasks, emails etc...

Keep up the good work.

You can't read anything and it is impossible to maneuver around. I almost gave up on your software because of this.

You can use the included "winter" theme if you want a lighter color scheme.
You can select it in administration -> system administration
