I have sight issues and there isn't much contrast in the winter theme, the spring theme offers the best contrast. However I have "colorized" a custom theme to brand the site a bit and customized the footer. You can see a screen shot attached.

I am figuring this out fairly quickly. I've only had to bother the developers once so far!!!
