I did the italian tradition with the help of an online dictionary. Unfortunately I don't really speak the language, so we cannot offer support in italian. But we are always looking for people who can help us in matters like this....

ok let's see:

- Posto di Lavoro --> Desktop (it's widely used here in italy)
- Pietra Miliare --> the lecteral translation is not used. project managers use "milestone", but "normal" user doesn't know this word. i have to think about it..
- Amministrazione di Progetti --> Amministrazione Progetti
- Amministrazione di Utenti --> Amministrazione Utenti
- Amministrazione di Sistema --> Amministrazione Sistema
- Inviare (button) --> Salva
- Aggiungere Progetto --> Aggiungi Progetto
- Dovuti su --> Attivo dal
- Gente --> Persone
- Aggiungere / Annullare (buttons) --> Aggiungi / Annulla
- Aggiungere Utente --> Aggiungi Utente
- Autorizzaziones --> Autorizzazioni
- Compendio --> You can leave dashboard
- Timetracker --> Its icon rappresents a "Cronometro".. maybe we can use this word.
- Aggiungere Compito --> Aggiungi Compito
- Assegnare --> Assegna a
- Aggiungere Pietra Miliare --> Aggiungi Milestone
- Fili --> File
- Aggiungere File --> Aggiungi File

Ok.. i hope i mentioned everything. I have to check system messages, but it's hard to "reproduce" all.

by the way.. do you use any platform for translation and managing .po files? or a post like this it's ok?

edit: just seen the it/lng.conf i will check it as soon as possibile..

Thanks for your suggestions (so far). I've changed the language file accordingly. :)
