Due Date bug in ver 7

Postby georkame » 27.05.2011, 19:33

Is anyone experiencing this problem with V7, when you try to chose a due date, I've created a project on 05/27/2011 and tried to select the due date to b 06/27/2011, instead it gives you something like this 05/36/2011 or 05.36.2011 (american standard)

I changed the setting in the admin section for dates types and still the same issue, in europeon standard you'll get 36.05.2011.

it was not the case in ver 0.65 see PIC below

Please detail the exact date format (like e.g. "d.m.Y") you chose in system administration. Thanks. :)

I started with m.d.y (lower case) that's when i noticed the issue.

I changed it to d.m.y still the same issue.

Thank you eva .

I've re-installed ver 7, and the problem now changed. no more weird numbers like 36 days in the month. LOL

but if I chose american standard date such as m/d/Y, and tried to add a project, the initial Due date shows today's date fine (See PIC 1), but if I try to select something else in the future for Due Dates it reverts to Europeen standards. (See PIC 2)

The date format function has not been fully implemented, yet.

Thx Eva, I've noticed that if I choose a future date within the same month, the format stays fine, it only reverts to Europeen when I choose future date beyond the same month like in june or july etc....

I've submitted a modified calendar to Google SVN

Save this file: http://collabtiv.googlecode.com/svn-his ... alendar.js to your computer and replace /include/js/mycalendar.js with it. That should fix the problem.

You may need to clear your browser cache to see the changes take effect.

Philipp,

Your fix corrected the problem with the calender/"days left" thinking there were more days left then in reality, however, the date still reverts to d.m.y (from m.d.y) in months outside of the current one. Do you know how to fix this problem?

Thanks,

Steve
